Knockhatch Adventure Park Review and Giveaway

Our May half term was crammed full of fun activities. The first was Fort Fun which I've already posted about, and our next was Knockhatch Adventure Park in West Sussex. At the bottom of this review I am offering you a family ticket for four people to get into the park for free, and all entries are free and easy to do so feel free to share.

Knockhatch Adventure Park

Knockhatch is a great mix of indoor and outdoor activities including a petting farm, owl sanctuary, indoor play centres, adventure playgrounds and a boating lake. We didn't get a chance to do half of the activities as there's a good couple of days worth so we shall definitely be going back in the summer holidays!

Here are the bits we did manage to check out:

Petting Area

The farm animals you can see include chickens, cows, deer, donkeys, goats, ducks, Llamas, meerkats, emus, raccoons, pigs and much more. They are spread out across a large area and at certain times of the day there are animals you can learn about and get up close and personal with. You can also walk around the park and feed some of the animals which is a big hit with the younger children.

Lost World Playbarn

This was my son's favourite area as it was full of dinosaurs, huge slides and more dinosaurs. This indoor play section is for kids and adults and is a great place to learn about brachiosaurus, pteranodon, tyrannosaurus rex and triceratops.

The boys loved the huge canopy hanging play area which features bridges, tubes and nets which lead to a selection of huge slides, one of which is a sheer drop which my partner spent a lot of time enjoying and you can see in the photo below!

Cannon Area

This area contains 20 ball shooters to shoot within a two storey cannon area. The aim is to help the chickens defend the hen house or to be on the other side helping the foxes with your sponge ball firing cannons. This section has a cute little cafe area for the parents to rest while the kids burn off some of their amazing energy.

Landmine Simulator

We queued for a while for this one, but we managed to get front row seats in the simulator where you are taken around a haunted landmine, full of bumps, jumps and scares. The kids enjoyed it and I enjoyed sitting in a dark environment for a few minutes rest!

Playground Areas

The boys loved the jumping pillow and there was also a great wooden castle they got to explore, climb and run around in the Chestnut Wood Adventure Playground area. The castle contained hideaways connected with ropes and walk-ways and they enjoyed climbing to the top and searching for me below.

Wave Runner

This is a thirty two foot tower which the kids loved speeding down across the water. Surprisingly you don't get very wet on it but there was a long wait as it was one of the more popular parts of the park.

Circus

We ended our day by visiting the big tent where we got to enjoy a pirate-themed circus show.  We saw a lady spinning and climbing ribbons and a hoop, and two men did some impressive balancing acts and trampoline work.

Next time we will try to get on the Quadapillar Barrel Ride, go karts, mini diggers, crazy golf and boating lake!

Overall it was a fun day and I was impressed with the amount there is to do for children of all ages. Check out my giveaway below if you want to win tickets to visit for yourself!

No payment was received for this post, only tickets to the park. All opinions are honest and my own.
